I have been having a lot of fun playing
with these little hexies..
Have you tried them yet?
I just received some new heat-resistent templates from
that I hope to try this weekend.
I think the hardest part may be deciding on one project
to focus on so I can work towards a finish!
Truly, making a decision about which way to go is usually
my hold-up to getting things done.

There are just so many possibilities for this WIP.....
I haven't made hexagons since my first quilting class. It was a Sampler quilt with a very crabby, opinionated woman. All of the blocks were hand stitched and I never finished it. I still love the Grandmother's flower block I made. I did not whip stitch the pieces the way we were instructed to. I traced the templates and then stitched on the pencil lines. I liked it better than the blocks made by my classmates. It lays nice and flat. Of course, my teacher disapproved and loudly let everyone know it.
ReplyDeleteYour hexagons look very flat. You must have mastered the technique.
